Sara Moore

Sara Moore first graduated from the University of Michigan in 2004 with distinction, earning her B.A. in Communication Studies. Then, she graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2008. After earning her J.D., Sara worked for over three years as an associate attorney at a medium-sized law firm in Metro Detroit, primarily focusing on general civil litigation, contract disputes, and liquor licensing. She also worked as a law clerk for over a year at the City of Dearborn’s Office of Corporation Counsel, where she gained significant experience in employment law litigation and exposure to municipal law. In 2014 Sara opened a solo practice, through which she had the pleasure of working with several individuals and small business owners on diverse legal matters including: contract formation and disputes, probate and basic estate plans, Nonprofit Corporations Act compliance counseling, liquor licensing and LCC permit applications, and family matters involving child custody disputes. Sara also advocated for children experiencing family hardships as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Detroit, and she has a strong appreciation and desire to positively impact family units by providing compassionate and thoughtful legal services and counseling.
